Originally the idea was to create a game you would control with high-fives (or holding hands); we used Makey Makey to make this possible at an exhibition in 2018.
If you are still keeping hard drives with previous OS's on them for using legacy programs like FCS on a Mac Pro 5,1, do not update to High Sierra. It installs a firmware update that prevents booting from drives with a previous OS. There is a thread about it over on the FCP X forum. I still use DVDSP so will not be updating my 5,1 to High Sierra. A version of Windows or Mac OS Wiping your old laptop clean before converting it into a home theatre system is smart. Erasing the OS that comes built into it is not.
